| For the Big-Block crowd, Edelbrock and Pat Musi have teamed up to deliver a powerful combination. This 555 cubic inch rat is constructed for big power and lasting durability. The block is a Dart® Big-M 9.8" deck height, loaded with a 4.250" SCAT® forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam rods and forged pistons. Edelbrock Victor 24° rectangle port heads, RPM hydraulic roller camshaft and roller rockers arms finish off the top-end. The Edelbrock/MUSI 555 is available carbureted or with powerful Pro-Flo 2 electronic fuel injection. The carbureted package includes a Victor Jr. intake manifold and 800cfm Thunder Series AVS carburetor. The fuel injected option is complete with Pro-Flo 2 electronic fuel injection and is assembled with EFI intake manifold, fuel injectors, fuel rails and throttle body, electronic engine control unit (ECU), handheld calibration module, ignition, complete harness, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel hose, attaching hardware and software. This package is extremely tunable and offers superb drivability on the street. A Moroso® oil pan and Mallory distributor add to the list of quality components. NOTE: This engine features exhaust port exits that are raised .534" and may require custom headers. |
